For those schools who have not participated in recent years or ever before, the Monmouth Arts Teen Arts Festival happens over two consecutive days in mid-March. We invite all teens ages 13-19 to experience professional critiques in their artistic disciplines, fun and interactive cross-disciplinary workshops, peer performances, and exhibitions. We provide a welcoming environment for students to showcase their skills and hear valuable critiques from professional artists.

We welcome high schools, middle schools, home-schooled students, art/music studios, and dance schools to participate. If your school does not sign up, individual teens can register with the help of their parents (if under 18 years old).

Get ready for an exciting celebration of creativity at this year’s Teen Arts Festival! Our theme, Power of Pop, is all about harnessing the vibrant energy of pop culture that inspires young artists and creators.

Power of Pop captures the essence of contemporary experiences and interests, creating an engaging platform for all participants to express their creativity. The festival inspires people to connect, foster collaboration, inspire new ideas, and encourage discussions among their peers. Power of Pop celebrates both art and the cultural landscape. We invite all participants to show us your Power!

The theme is a valuable tool for teachers who develop curricula around the concept and helps to centralize the marketing of the event each year. During the festival, there will be several workshops and a group exhibition that will utilize the theme of Power of Pop!

This year, Brookdale Community College will once again partner with Monmouth Arts to host the festival on Thursday, March 20 and Friday, March 21, 2025, on Brookdale's Lincroft campus during the college's Spring Break.

Workshop Proposals
WORKSHOP PROPOSALS

Monmouth Arts is seeking professional artists who are interested in presenting workshops throughout the duration of the festival.

The Festival's theme this year, Power of Pop, is all about harnessing the vibrant energy of pop culture that inspires young artists and creators.

We are looking for several workshops to carry out this theme in a variety of innovative and engaging ways for students aged 13-19. Please note, however, that to be considered proposals do not need to cater to the theme. We expect many of our workshops and masterclasses to be non-thematic.

If you or your organization is interested in submitting a workshop proposal, please fill out the Workshop Proposal Form by clicking the button below. Proposals will be reviewed as they come in and artists will be contacted as soon as possible to confirm acceptance. Workshop proposals are due February 7, 2025.
